Request

COULD YOU ...?

Today I taught my students to understand and to practice making request.
I began with:
"To make a request, you can start by saying: 'COULD YOU'."
For example: Could you give me a pen?

I asked this to one of them.

Luckily he understood. He gave me a pen.

Then I asked another question to another student: "Could you smile at Winda?"

Luckily again, she understood and gave a smile to her friend, Winda.

Then I gave more examples.

After that I started to give an evaluation by asking them to translate these three sentences into English:
1. Bisakah kamu memberikan saya sebuah tas?
2. Dapatkah kamu mengambilkan saya sebuah sendok?
3. Dapatkah kamu menuliskan namamu di papan tulis itu?

I was really proud of them because their scores were at this range 70 - 100.

What about you?

Could you do the translation?

I'M SURE YOU CAN
AM I RIGHT?

Libur Hampir Usai (Vacation almost End)

Assalamu'alaikum Wr. Wb.

How are you all ALC's crews, students and English learners? Hopefully you are still in good condition and blessed by Allah SWT.

We have been in vacation for almost 2 weeks. Where have you been? Going to tourism sites? If so, why don't you write about it.

This blog is created in order to make a good relationship between the crews and students of ALC. We already have facebooks. Now I'd like to offer you to join in this blog.

Me and my daughter. Where? Just guess!

Last but not least, I'd like to say HAPPY VACATION to all of you.
